A parenting book
After 4 years, my book about our son Ben’s life as a highly sensitive child is ready for public consumption. What an experience. The writing was easy. The self publishing was the challenging part. The book is called “High Sensitivity what our son Ben taught me.” Aptly named because I learnt a lot along the way.
If you are interested in reading this case study of a highly sensitive child packed full of parenting tips then have a look at Amazon. Pre-order is now available at Amazon.com as a kindle download. The back cover reads
Sally’s son Ben was more physically and emotionally reactive. More empathetic and more easily overwhelmed. As part of a small subset of the population considered Highly Sensitive, Ben processed the world more intensely. Part memoir, part parenting guide, High Sensitivity: What Our Son Ben Taught Me demystifies high sensitivity by chronicling Ben’s life, which was tragically cut short by an unrelated illness. Sally, a certified counsellor, guides parents through the joys and pitfalls of raising a child with high sensitivity, while imparting wisdom on how to best serve their child’s development into a functioning, happy adult.
I would really appreciate people taking the time to share this with their social media networks. Marketing is not my strong point but helping others particularly sweet sensitive children is.
